This
first photo [left] shows the 'home straight', looking at where the
starting gate would have been. The old wooden stand would be on the
right of the picture.
........................................
The photo on the right shows the back straight looking from where
the pits were.
This road is now known as Racemeadow Crescent.

This
photo on the left is looking back at where the first bend was.

pits

The next section
shows what has happened outside the stadium....
|
 |
|
On
the left, this used to be the bowling green and car park for the
Victoria Pub outside the stadium, many supporters would have enjoyed
a 'pint' there.
...........................................
On the right was Dudley Wood Church - yes the one opposite the
stadium.

On
the left the new Cradley Heath bypass looking down towards the new
Tesco Extra Superstore

.................................................
I found this on the Cradley Heath by-pass, perhaps one of the last
remaining reminders - but for how long? |

|
|

On the left, the Five Ways, as you can
see the old church has now gone, the new by-pass joins about 30 mtrs
